Termite Exterminator in Washington DC

Termites can cause significant damage to homes and other structures in Washington D.C. and the surrounding area. If left unchecked, termites can quickly ruin a home’s structural integrity, leading to costly repairs or even an unsafe living environment. Fortunately, there are effective methods of termite control that homeowners and business owners in the District of Columbia can take to protect their property from these destructive pests.

Signs of a termite infestation includes:

  • Damage to walls, floors, or furniture: Termites leave behind telltale signs of damage like visible wood grain patterns and hollow-sounding wood. If termites have invaded your home, you might see buckling or bubbling paint on walls, sagging door frames, and/or crumbling drywall.
  • Discarded wings: If there are piles of discarded insect wings near windowsills or doors, it’s a sign that termites are present.
  • Mud tubes: Subterranean termites build mud tubes to protect themselves as they travel from the soil to the wood of your home. These mud tubes look like small dirt pathways and are usually located on foundation walls or other exposed areas of your home.

If you suspect a termite infestation , it is important to contact a professional pest control company ASAP. Trained professionals can quickly identify the signs of an infestation and recommend the appropriate course of action.

I would like to commend Senate pest control for hiring such honest employees. I was thrilled with the terrific service that Deonte Wright field technician provided. He carefully explained the action he planned to take on the wasp nest behind the siding. Those little buggers were getting into the house as well. Mr. Wright was able to infiltrate the nest assuring me calmly and professionally that the nest is dead. He also said he’d come back in a weeks’ time to check in on me and see if all is well.
